Job summary

Westinghouse Electric Company is seeking a Vendor Services Specialist to support outage-related vendor activities onsite in Indiantown, FL. This 1-year W-2 contract will coordinate with vendors on contracts, performance, and compliance across pre-outage, outage, and post-outage phases.

Responsibilities include PO setup, rate validation, approvals, and weekly/daily confirmations, with negotiation of cost and rental management.

Qualifications

Associate's or Bachelor's degree in the listed fields.
Equivalent utility or outage experience may substitute for formal education.

Responsibilities

Pre-Outage: understand and set up all outage POs; request changes as needed; maintain clear communication with vendors; confirm rates align with contracts.
Outage: approve service confirmations; monitor burn rates; ensure weekly summaries and daily confirmations; issue vendor invoice concerns.
Post-Outage: obtain post-outage cost summaries; ensure invoicing is complete; participate in cost negotiations; ensure rentals are returned and invoicing completed.
