Responsibilities include PO setup, change orders, rate validation, meetings with cost leads, and monitoring burn rates. A paralegal or related degree with 10+ years in contract negotiations and legal compliance is required.

Qualifications

• Education: a paralegal designation or other relevant college degree is required.
• Experience: 10+ years of experience in contract negotiations, legal compliance, and financial risk management.
• Technical Skills: Proficiency with Microsoft Word.

Responsibilities

• Understand outage-related POs and set up accurately; submit change orders as needed.
• Establish clear communication with vendors to set expectations.
• Confirm vendor rates are accurate per contract or quote.
• Attend meetings with vendors and cost leads to prevent unexpected costs.
• Adjust or communicate PO/service confirmation errors to avoid payment delays.
• Approve service confirmations and monitor burn rates.
