Job summary

Air Products seeks an experienced professional to lead outage planning and execution across assigned projects. You will manage scope from planning through closeout, coordinate diverse stakeholders, oversee contractors, and ensure safety and compliance with Air Products standards.

The role requires strong planning, scheduling, and field execution experience, with a commitment to safety and operational excellence. Strong communication and leadership are essential.

Qualifications

• 5+ years of experience in maintenance, reliability, outage planning, project execution, or engineering within an industrial environment.
• Experience with industrial turnarounds/outages and piping systems; pumps, heat exchangers, hydrotesting, pipe fabrication.
• Knowledge of P&IDs, Isometric drawings, Piping specifications, fixed equipment design packages.
• Working knowledge of ASME B31.1 and B31.3.
• Proficiency with Primavera P6, SAP, Microsoft Office.
• Strong organizational, planning and leadership skills.
• Ability to manage multiple priorities and projects simultaneously.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.

Responsibilities

• Lead outage scopes through planning, scheduling, construction, and closeout.
• Develop detailed work scopes and required disciplines.
• Create and maintain Primavera schedules with manpower, durations, dependencies, and resources.
• Provide daily schedule updates and progress tracking.
• Develop job packages including P&IDs, BOMs, equipment drawings, photos, tools and materials, safe work procedures, quality control requirements, and applicable standards.
• Support bid events and contractor work package development.
• Manage contractors throughout outage execution and ensure safety, quality, and schedule adherence.
• Oversee field activities, change management, timesheet verification, and contractor performance.
• Monitor progress and verify QC completion.
• Maintain communication between operations, maintenance, engineering, and contractor teams.
• Documentation and closeout tasks.
