Job summary

Air Products is seeking an experienced Turnaround Machinery Planner to lead outage planning and execution across assigned projects. The role develops safe, complete work packages for rotating equipment and collaborates with operations, maintenance, engineering, and contractors to deliver turnarounds safely and efficiently.

The position requires strong planning, scheduling, and field execution skills, with travel up to 25–45% depending on assignments. Competitive benefits are offered.

Qualifications

• Minimum 5 years’ experience leading machinery/turnaround planning.
• Experience coordinating multiple stakeholders and contractors.
• Strong planning, scheduling, and field execution capabilities.

Responsibilities

• Lead assigned machinery turnaround scope from planning through closeout.
• Develop work scope and planning deliverables for assigned turnaround work orders.
• Identify support disciplines and resource requirements necessary to execute planned work.
• Create detailed Primavera P6 activities including work steps, durations, craft requirements, and resource loading.
• Support contractor bid events and ensure planning packages are suitable for field execution.
• Complete turnaround closeout documentation and lessons learned in accordance with Air Products procedures.
• Promote and maintain high housekeeping standards throughout planning and execution activities.
