Altom Transport, Inc. is hiring Over The Road CDL A Owner Operator Tanker Drivers to transport liquid bulk nationwide. Expect extended on-road periods (7+ days) with flexible home time based on operations.

Qualifications

• CDL Class A license with Hazmat endorsement preferred; must obtain within 90 days of hire.

Responsibilities

• Safe Transportation: Hauling chemical and petroleum products using tankers while following DOT rules.
• Equipment Maintenance: Keep truck in top condition for long-haul operations.
• Loading & Unloading: Follow proper procedures for ISO/Flexi-Bag or Tanker operations at points of loading and delivery.
• Compliance & Documentation: Maintain logs, submit paperwork, and adhere to Hazmat regulations.
• Customer Service: Represent Altom Transport professionally at customer locations.
• Business Management: Manage fuel purchases, trip planning, and scheduling to maximize revenue.
• Maintain steady workload by meeting mileage or hour requirements; 24/7 availability when needed.
