Job summary

Altom Transport, Inc. is seeking dedicated Over The Road CDL A Owner Operator Tanker Drivers to transport liquid bulk chemicals across the country.

This role involves extended road time (7+ days) with home time planned around operations and driver preference, offering earnings potential aligned with a business ownership mindset. You will haul chemical and petroleum products, maintain your equipment, and ensure DOT/Hazmat compliance while providing professional customer service and robust trip

Qualifications

• Minimum 1 year verifiable tanker driving experience.
• Hazmat Endorsement preferred (within 90 days of hire).
• Must be at least 23 years old with clean MVR and strong safety record.

Responsibilities

• Safely transport liquid bulk chemicals and petroleum products using tank trailers in compliance with DOT regulations.
• Maintain vehicle and equipment to meet inspection standards for long-haul operations.
• Load and unload at loading/unloading points following proper protocols for ISO/Flexi-Bag or Tanker operations.
• Accurately log documents and adhere to Hazmat and DOT requirements.
• Represent Altom Transport professionally at customer locations and manage trip planning to maximize revenue.
• Work flexible schedules, including 24/7 operations if needed.
