Job summary

PepsiCo is hiring a full-time truck driver in Denver, CO. You will complete paid driver training designed for candidates with little or no Class-A CDL experience, then safely operate a tractor/trailer to deliver products to PepsiCo facilities and local stores.

Duties include loading/unloading, completing delivery paperwork, and maintaining accurate logs. After CDL, you may work up to 14 hours daily with shifts from 00:00 to 23:59.

Qualifications

• Must be 21 years of age or older
• Ability to lift 15 to 50 pounds with or without a reasonable accommodation
• Ability to stand and walk for extended periods of time with or without a reasonable accommodation
• Ability to repeatedly lift, carry, push, pull, and handle products with or without a reasonable accommodation
• Ability to sit for extended periods of time, up to five hours daily, with or without a reasonable accommodation
• After obtaining your CDL, you may work up to 14 hours a day and drive a tractor trailer for extended periods, up to 11 hours per day

Responsibilities

• Safely operate a tractor/trailer after training and transport products to and from PepsiCo facilities, grocery stores, rural storage units, vendor locations, backhaul locations, and other traffic centers
• Load and unload trailers using manual methods, palletized loading/unloading, four-wheeled carts, or a two-wheeler as needed
• Complete delivery paperwork, logs, invoices, manifests, proof of receipt, returns, and pre- and post-trip truck inspections
• Work toward successful completion of a Truck Driving CDL program, with training costs covered by PepsiCo
• Deliver beloved brands like Lay's, Doritos, and Cheetos to local stores and keep shelves stocked

What You'll Do

• Complete paid driver training designed for candidates with little to no Class-A CDL operating experience
• Work toward successful completion of a Truck Driving CDL program, with Frito-Lay covering some or all eligible training costs
• Safely operate a tractor/trailer after training and transport products to and from Frito-Lay facilities, grocery stores, rural storage units, vendor locations, backhaul locations, and other traffic centers
• Load and unload trailers using manual methods, palletized loading/unloading, four-wheeled carts, or a two-wheeler as needed
• Complete delivery paperwork, logs, invoices, manifests, proof of receipt, returns, and pre- and post-trip truck inspections
