Job summary

PepsiCo in Frankfort, IN is seeking full-time delivery drivers to safely transport beloved brands to local stores and keep shelves stocked for your community. You’ll train on the job and join a fast-paced, hands-on environment delivering Lay's, Doritos and Cheetos.

You’ll bid on runs daily with start times that vary by route and must observe DOT rules of rest (10 hours off between runs). After training, you may drive a tractor-trailer up to 11 hours daily, up to 14 hours on certain days, with

Qualifications

• Must be 21 years of age or older.
• Able to lift 15 to 50 pounds with or without accommodation.
• Able to stand and walk for extended periods.
• Able to repeatedly lift, carry, push, pull and handle products.
• Able to sit for up to five hours daily.
• After obtaining CDL, able to drive up to 14 hours/day and up to 11 hours/day driving per DOT.

Responsibilities

• Complete paid driver training designed for candidates with little to no Class-A CDL operating experience.
• Work toward successful completion of a Truck Driving CDL program with some training costs covered by PepsiCo.
• Safely operate a tractor/trailer after training and transport products to and from PepsiCo facilities and stores.
• Load and unload trailers using manual methods or equipment as needed.
• Complete delivery paperwork, logs, invoices, manifests and inspections.

• Location: Frankfort, IN

• Work Days: Days will vary depending on the run you receive. Drivers bid on their runs daily.

• Start Time: Start times will vary depending on the run you receive. Drivers must take 10 hours off in between runs per DOT.

• End Time: End times will vary depending on the run you receive. Drivers must take 10 hours off in between runs per DOT. Drivers can work 14 hours daily, but only driver 11 hours a day.

What You’ll Do

• Complete paid driver training designed for candidates with little to no Class-A CDL operating experience
• Work toward successful completion of a Truck Driving CDL program, with Frito-Lay covering some or all eligible training costs
• Safely operate a tractor/trailer after training and transport products to and from Frito-Lay facilities, grocery stores, rural storage units, vendor locations, backhaul locations, and other traffic centers
• Load and unload trailers using manual methods, palletized loading/unloading, four-wheeled carts, or a two-wheeler as needed
• Complete delivery paperwork, logs, invoices, manifests, proof of receipt, returns, and pre- and post-trip truck inspections
