Job summary

PepsiCo in Beloit, WI seeks a full-time Truck Driver trainee to safely deliver Lay's, Doritos, and Cheetos to local stores. Paid driver training is provided and candidates with little or no Class-A CDL experience can join and work toward a CDL with PepsiCo covering eligible costs.

Expect 5–6 work days with start times varying. Roles require lifting up to 50 lb, standing/walking long periods, and occasional long driving days.

Qualifications

• Must be 21 years or older.
• Ability to lift 15 to 50 pounds with or without a reasonable accommodation.
• Ability to stand and walk for extended periods of time with or without a reasonable accommodation.
• Ability to repeatedly lift, carry, push, pull, and handle products with or without a reasonable accommodation.
• Ability to sit for extended periods of time, up to five hours daily, with or without a reasonable accommodation.
• After obtaining your CDL, you have the ability to work up to 14 hours a day and drive a tractor trailer for extended periods of time, up to 11 hours per day, with or without a reasonable accommodation.

Responsibilities

• Complete paid driver training designed for candidates with little to no Class-A CDL operating experience
• Work toward successful completion of a Truck Driving CDL program, with Frito-Lay covering some or all eligible training costs
• Safely operate a tractor/trailer after training and transport products to and from Frito-Lay facilities, grocery stores, rural storage units, vendor locations, backhaul locations, and other traffic centers
• Load and unload trailers using manual methods, palletized loading/unloading, four-wheeled carts, or a two-wheeler as needed
• Complete delivery paperwork, logs, invoices, manifests, proof of receipt, returns, and pre- and post-trip truck inspections
