Job summary

Clean Harbors, Inc. is seeking an OTR Class A Dry Van Owner Operator to join its safety‑driven team in Kimball, NE. The route runs from Kimball, NE to Carson, CA, with an average of 2,600 miles per round trip.

Average annual earnings are $200k–$250k, with bi‑weekly home time. Compensation includes on‑duty time paid via hourly demurrage rates, non‑asset hourly rates, and/or mileage pay. Health and safety stay as top priorities.

Qualifications

• Class A CDL required.
• HazMat and Tanker endorsements required.
• Minimum 12 months of Class A driving experience.
• Ability to use required technology such as mobile apps and computer software.

Responsibilities

• Ensures that Health and Safety is the number one priority by complying with all safe work practices, policies, and processes and acting in a safe manner at all times
• Operates tractor trailer units
• Adheres to weights and ensures proper utilization of the units
• Ensures proper loading and unloading of hazardous waste/non-hazardous waste; Properly secures the loads
• Placards vehicle in accordance to Company and Department of Transportation (DOT) requirements/regulations
• Maintains daily logs, invoicing, time sheets, dispatch and trip reports as well as vehicle inspection reports
