Job summary

Clean Harbors is looking for an OTR Class A Dry Van Driver to join their safety conscious team in Kimball, NE. This route runs from Kimball, NE to various locations in the Pacific Northwest and averages 2800-3000 miles per week.

Drivers average $90-$115K per year with a $7,500 sign-on bonus and bi-weekly home time. Compensation includes hourly wages for on-duty time and mileage pay, plus robust benefits after 30 days and a 401K with company matching.

Qualifications

• Class A CDL required.
• Minimum 12 months of Class A driving experience.
• Hazmat and Tanker endorsements.
• Ability to use required technology such as mobile apps and computer software.

Responsibilities

• Operates tractor-trailer units and other vehicles.
• Maintains proper loading and unloading procedures and secures loads.
• Ensures compliance with DOT requirements and safety policies.
• Maintains daily logs, time sheets, expense reports, and trip reports.

Responsibilities

• Ensures that Health and Safety is the number one priority by complying with all safe work practices, policies, and processes and acting in a safe manner at all times


• Operates tractor trailer units and other vehicles


• Adheres to weights and ensures proper utilization of the units


• Ensures proper loading and unloading of hazardous waste/non-hazardous waste; Properly secures the loads


• Placards vehicle in accordance to Company and Department of Transportation (DOT) requirements/regulations


• Maintains daily logs, time sheets, expense reports, dispatch and trip reports as well as vehicle inspection reports

Qualifications

• Class A CDL


• Minimum 12 months of Class A driving experience


• HAZMAT and Tanker endorsements


• Ability to effectively use required technology such as mobile applications and computer software
