Job summary

Clean Harbors is seeking an OTR Class A Dry Van Owner Operator to join our safety-conscious team in Bristol, CT. This route runs from the northeast to El Dorado, AR or El Dorado to the northeast, covering about 3,000 miles per week with two weeks out before home time.

Average earnings are $200-250K per year, with a compensation package that includes on-duty time paid via hourly demurrage rates, non-asset hourly rates, and/or mileage pay.

Qualifications

• Class A CDL required.
• HazMat endorsement required.
• Tanker endorsement required.
• Minimum 12 months of Class A driving experience.
• Ability to use mobile apps and computer software.

Responsibilities

• Maintains health and safety as a top priority in all work practices.
• Operates tractor trailer units as required.
• Ensures proper loading/unloading of hazardous and non-hazardous waste; secures loads.
• Placards vehicle per DOT requirements/regulations.
• Maintains logs, invoicing, time sheets, dispatch and trip reports, and vehicle inspections.
