Job summary

Clean Harbors, Inc. is seeking an OTR Class A Dry Van Owner Operator based in Arizona to haul hazardous and non-hazardous loads to neighboring states. Expect about 2,800 miles per week and bi-weekly home time.

The compensation package includes on-duty time paid via hourly demurrage or mileage/ hourly rates. Health and safety are a top priority with opportunities for bonus or incentive compensation.

Qualifications

• Class A CDL required with HazMat and Tanker endorsements.
• Minimum 12 months of Class A driving experience.
• Ability to effectively use required technology such as mobile applications and computer software.

Responsibilities

• Ensures health and safety are the top priority by following safe work practices.
• Operates tractor-trailer units.
• Adheres to weight limits and proper loading/unloading of loads; secures loads.
• Placing appropriate placards per DOT requirements and company policy.
• Maintains logs, invoicing, time sheets, dispatch and trip reports, and vehicle inspections.

Clean Harbors is looking for a OTR Class A Dry Van Owner Operator to join their safety conscious team in Arizona! This route runs from Arizona to Nevada/Utah and averages 2800 miles per week.

About the role:

• Average $200-250K per year
• Bi-Weekly home time
• Compensation package includes all on-duty time paid via hourly demurrage rates, non-asset hourly rates, and/or mileage pay

RESPONSIBILITIES

• Ensures that Health and Safety is the number one priority by complying with all safe work practices, policies, and processes and acting in a safe manner at all times
• Operates tractor trailer units
• Adheres to weights and ensures proper utilization of the units
• Ensures proper loading and unloading of hazardous waste/non-hazardous waste; Properly secures the loads
• Placards vehicle in accordance to Company and Department of Transportation (DOT) requirements/regulations
• Maintains daily logs, invoicing, time sheets, dispatch and trip reports as well as vehicle inspection reports

QUALIFICATIONS
