Job summary

Clean Harbors, Inc. is seeking an OTR Class A Dry Van Driver to join our safety-conscious team. The route runs from Cleveland, OH to El Dorado, AR, averaging about 2800 miles per week, with bi-weekly home time.

Drivers earn $80-$110K per year, with a $7,500 sign-on bonus. Compensation includes hourly wages for on-duty non-driving time and mileage pay, plus comprehensive benefits after 30 days.

Qualifications

• Class A CDL required.
• Minimum 12 months of Class A driving experience.
• HazMat and Tanker endorsements required.
• Ability to use mobile apps and computer software.

Responsibilities

• Ensures health and safety is the number one priority by following safe work practices and policies.
• Operates tractor trailer units and other vehicles.
• Adheres to weights and proper utilisation of units.
• Ensures loading/unloading of hazardous and non-hazardous waste; properly secures loads.
• Places placards according to DOT requirements.
• Maintains daily logs, time sheets, expense reports, dispatch and trip reports, and vehicle inspection reports.

RESPONSIBILITIES

• Ensures that Health and Safety is the number one priority by complying with all safe work practices, policies, and processes and acting in a safe manner at all times
• Operates tractor trailer units and other vehicles
• Adheres to weights and ensures proper utilization of the units
• Ensures proper loading and unloading of hazardous waste/non-hazardous waste; Properly secures the loads
• Placards vehicle in accordance to Company and Department of Transportation (DOT) requirements/regulations
• Maintains daily logs, time sheets, expense reports, dispatch and trip reports as well as vehicle inspection reports

QUALIFICATIONS

• Class A CDL
• Minimum 12 months of Class A driving experience
• HAZMAT and Tanker endorsements
• Ability to effectively use required technology such as mobile applications and computer software
