Job summary

Lynden Door Trucking, LLC in Rapid City, SD is seeking full-time CDL A OTR drivers based out of Rapid City. Our drivers cover routes to the Midwest and West with 11–15 days gone and home 2–3 days every other week.

The role offers hourly wages averaging $68,000–$80,000 per year for 50–55 hours weekly, plus quarterly $400 performance bonuses and an annual $400 Gold Star bonus, with medical, dental and vision insurance and a 401(k) plan.

Qualifications

• Must have a Class A CDL and a clean driving record.
• Physically able to chain up, lift truck hood, and enter/exit the truck.
• OTR driving experience is a plus.
• Away 11–15 days per trip with 2–3 days home every other week.

Responsibilities

• Operate OTR routes to Midwest and West regions.

Job description

ROLE: Lynden Door Trucking, LLC is a growing, family-owned transportation and logistics company, looking for full-time, CDL OTR drivers based out of Rapid City, South Dakota. We haul our doors from Lynden Washington to the states in the, Midwest, Minnesota, Wisconsin, Texas, Ohio, and beyond at times, and bring all types of freight back to the Northwest in 53ft dry vans.

1. Our OTR loads are 99% no-touch! Equipment consists of newer Peterbilt, Freightliner, and Mack Tractors.
2. Our Drivers appreciate Supervisors that care for them, support them immediately with issues that come up on the road, and work with them on scheduling needs.
3. Hourly pay structure takes the pressure off of sitting in traffic or road construction delays, and ensures you can always drive at safe speeds, take needed breaks, and be focused on getting there the way you left, not getting there more quickly than is comfortable.
4. Quarterly $400 bonuses for Performance (Safety, Idle Time, Logbook, Incident-free) and annual $400 Gold Star Bonus (based on quarterly bonuses).
5. Experienced drivers started at up to 15% higher base wages than new drivers,

MORE ABOUT THE ROLE:

• OTR lanes run to MI, IL MN, NE, CA WI & KY, and beyond, then returning from OH, MO, to be delivered in the Pacific Northwest.
• These lanes require driver to be gone 11-15 days including 34 hour reset and home 2-3 days every other week. Longer road time is available to drivers that would like to be gone longer
• COMPENSATION & BENEFITS:
  • Competitive hourly wages - $68,000 - $80,000 - based on 50-55 hours/week

  • Quarterly Performance Bonus; Up to $400.00, Eligible on the first full quarter, following the 90-day probation period.

CORE SKILLS & COMPETENCIES:

• Class A drivers must be able to provide a good driving record.
• Physically able and willing to chain up, lift the truck hood, and get in and out of truck often.
• OTR and mountain driving experience is a plus.
• Job offers are based on passing a DOT drug and alcohol test as required by law.
• Must have good customer service skills and the ability to represent our Company well to the public.
