Job summary

Lynden Door Trucking, LLC in Rapid City, SD is seeking full-time CDL A OTR drivers. Routes span MI, IL MN, NE, CA, WI, KY and beyond, with 11–15 days on the road and 2–3 days home every other week.

We offer competitive wages equivalent to $68,000–$80,000 per year based on 50–55 hours per week, paid loading/unloading and traffic time, plus quarterly and annual bonuses, medical/dental/vision, and a 401(k) plan.

Qualifications

• Must have Class A commercial driver's license.
• Must maintain a good driving record.
• Subject to DOT drug and alcohol testing as required by law.
• Strong customer service skills and professional conduct.

Responsibilities

• Operate as a CDL A OTR driver based out of Rapid City, SD.
• Be on the road 11–15 days and home 2–3 days every other week; longer trips available.
• Prepare for loading/unloading, and drive safely to destinations.

ROLE: Lynden Door Trucking, LLC is a growing, family-owned transportation and logistics company, looking for full-time, CDL OTR drivers based out of Rapid City, South Dakota. We haul our doors from Lynden Washington to the states in the, Midwest, Minnesota, Wisconsin, Texas, Ohio, and beyond at times, and bring all types of freight back to the Northwest in 53ft dry vans.

• Our OTR loads are 99% no-touch! Equipment consists of newer Peterbilt, Freightliner, and Mack Tractors.
• Our Drivers appreciate Supervisors that care for them, support them immediately with issues that come up on the road, and work with them on scheduling needs.
• Hourly pay structure takes the pressure off of sitting in traffic or road construction delays, and ensures you can always drive at safe speeds, take needed breaks, and be focused on getting there the way you left, not getting there more quickly than is comfortable.
• Quarterly $400 bonuses for Performance (Safety, Idle Time, Logbook, Incident-free) and annual $400 Gold Star Bonus (based on quarterly bonuses).
• Experienced drivers started at up to 15% higher base wages than new drivers,

• OTR lanes run to MI, IL MN, NE, CA WI & KY, and beyond, then returning from OH, MO, to be delivered in the Pacific Northwest.
• These lanes require driver to be gone 11-15 days and home 2-3 days every other week. Longer road time is available to drivers that would like to be gone longer.
• COMPENSATION & BENEFITS:

  • Quarterly Performance Bonus; Up to $400.00, Eligible on the first full quarter, following the 90-day probation period.

CORE SKILLS & COMPETENCIES:

• Class A drivers must be able to provide a good driving record.
• Physically able and willing to chain up, lift the truck hood, and get in and out of truck often.
• OTR and mountain driving experience is a plus.
• Job offers are based on passing a DOT drug and alcohol test as required by law.
• Must have good customer service skills and the ability to represent our Company well to the public.
