Job summary

FedEx Freight is seeking qualified CDL A drivers to transport trailers between service centers and turn-points across the U.S. Responsibilities include pre-trip inspections, coupling/uncoupling trailers, maintaining logs, and following dispatch guidance. Hazmat/tank endorsements are required, with DOT compliance a must.

Qualifications

• Basic written and verbal communication required.
• Ability to hook-up and break down trailers and perform daily inspections.
• Ability to meet DOT and company safety requirements.
• Endorsements for hazmat, tank and doubles/triples required or in process.

Responsibilities

• Operate tractor-trailer combinations (including doubles/triples).
• Move trailers between service centers and turn-points.
• Conduct pre-trip inspections and maintain logs.
• Communicate dispatch with delays or issues.
• Perform loading/unloading as needed.
• Follow all safety, DOT, and company policies.
