Job summary

TheraDynamics is seeking an Occupational Therapy Assistant for SNF settings in New York. You will assist the Occupational Therapist with procedures, develop treatment plans, and help patients regain independence, with support for discharge planning and home safety.

Qualifications

• Associate degree in Occupational Therapy from an accredited program.
• Current or eligible for New York State OTA license.
• NBCOT certification (or eligible).

Responsibilities

• Assist Occupational Therapist in performing procedures, tests and treatments; help develop individualized treatment plans.
• Address self-care skills, cognitive and perceptual deficits, home safety, and caregiver training.
• Collaborate with nursing, PT, SLP, and social work to ensure coordinated patient care.
