TheraDynamics in Danbury, CT is seeking an Occupational Therapy Assistant to support skilled nursing residents on therapeutic interventions designed to restore independence and confidence in daily activities. You will work closely with OTs to provide goal-driven plans in a patient-centric environment.

The role emphasizes creativity, strong clinical reasoning, and collaboration with nurses, PT, SLP, and social work to ensure optimal outcomes and safe discharge planning.

Formación

• Associate's degree in Occupational Therapy from an accredited program.
• Current or eligible for New York State OTA license.
• NBCOT certification (or eligible).
• Strong clinical reasoning and creative problem solving.

Responsabilidades

• Assist Occupational Therapist in procedures and treatments to ensure safe, effective evaluation and care.
• Develop individualized treatment plans focused on functional independence.
• Collaborate with nursing, PT, SLP, and social work to ensure coordinated patient care.
• Address ADLs, cognitive and perceptual deficits, home safety, adaptive equipment needs, and caregiver training.
• Support safe discharge planning and patient education.
