TheraDynamics seeks a dedicated Occupational Therapist Assistant to support OT in skilled nursing facilities. You will help patients regain independence through functional therapy plans and collaborate with nurses, PT, SLP, and social work.

Requirements include an Associate's degree in Occupational Therapy, NY OTA license (or eligibility), and NBCOT certification (or eligibility). The role offers flexible scheduling and mentorship for new graduates.

Qualificações

• Associates degree in Occupational Therapy from an accredited program.
• Current or eligible for New York State OTA license.
• NBCOT certification (or eligible).

Responsabilidades

• Assist Occupational Therapist in procedures and treatments to ensure safe, effective care.
• Develop individualized treatment plans focused on functional independence.
• Collaborate with nursing, PT, SLP, and social work for coordinated care.
• Address self-care skills, cognitive/perceptual deficits, and home safety.
• Support caregiver training and contribute to discharge planning.
