Job summary

TheraDynamics is seeking an Occupational Therapy Assistant to join our SNF team in Stamford, CT. You will support OTs in designing functional interventions to improve ADLs, cognitive tasks, and safe discharge planning, helping patients regain independence after strokes or fractures.

You'll collaborate with nursing, PT, SLP, and social work to coordinate care, document progress, and contribute to a supportive learning environment with mentorship for new graduates.

Qualifications

• Associate degree in Occupational Therapy from an accredited program.
• Current or eligible for New York State OTA license.
• NBCOT certification (or eligible).
• Passion for helping patients regain independence.
• Strong clinical reasoning and creative problem-solving skills.
• New graduates are encouraged to apply.

Responsibilities

• Assist OT in procedures, tests and treatments to evaluate and treat patients.
• Develop individualized treatment plans focused on functional independence.

Your work directly determines whether a patient goes home or stays ina facility — and we give you the tools, time, and support to make that happen.

What You Will Do

You assist Occupational Therapist in performing procedures,test and complex treatments to ensure the safe, effective evaluation andtreatment of patients; develop individualized treatment plans focused onfunctional independence, and collaborate with nursing, PT, SLP, and social workto ensure coordinated patient care.
