Job summary

INEOS Olefins & Polymers USA in Alvin, TX is seeking an Operational Technology Server Engineer to ensure availability, reliability and security of OT servers supporting ICS and plant operations. The role focuses on lifecycle management, patching, backups and DR planning in segmented OT networks.

The position reports to the OT Team Leader within Process Control and OT. Bachelor's degree and 5+ years OT infrastructure experience are required, with strong ISA/IEC62443 knowledge and Cisco/VMware

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in CS/IS/IT required.
• Minimum 5 years OT/infrastructure support within plant ops.
• Knowledge of ISA99, IEC62443, NIST882 security standards.

Responsibilities

• Build, configure, and maintain OT servers in segmented OT networks.
• Manage virtualization platforms (VMware vSphere/ESXi, Nutanix) and storage.
• Maintain domain services, DNS/DHCP, NTP, and OT certificate services.
• Health monitoring and alerting for server hardware and software.
• Support cybersecurity projects and DR/BC plans for OT systems.
