Job summary
INEOS Olefins & Polymers USA is seeking an Operational Technology (OT) Server Engineer in Alvin, TX. This role ensures availability, reliability, and cybersecurity of OT servers and core infrastructure supporting ICS and plant operations.
You will manage lifecycle, patching, backups, DR, and secure integration with DCS/SCADA/Historians, following ISA/IEC 62443 standards. You will collaborate with Operations, Maintenance, and Safety groups to align PLC and OT device security across multiple
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Systems or related field.
- Minimum of 5 years of operational support experience in OT/infrastructure.
- Experience with ISA99, IEC62443, NIST882 standards.
Responsibilities
- Build, configure, and maintain OT servers in segmented OT networks.
- Manage virtualization platforms and storage supporting OT applications.
- Maintain domain services, DNS/DHCP, NTP, and certificates for OT trust.
- Monitor health and establish KPIs for asset health and performance.
- Install new servers and decommission old equipment.
- Manage user access and remote connections to OT servers.
- Implement cybersecurity policies and support OT cybersecurity projects.
- Support DCS servers/workstations and troubleshooting for OT systems.
