Job summary

Syensqo is seeking an OT Systems Specialist to ensure reliability, cybersecurity, and lifecycle management of OT/ICS computing environments. You will support OT servers, workstations, PLC interfaces, and industrial networks on‑site to reduce downtime and improve safety and compliance.

The role emphasizes patching, backups, health monitoring, and hardware refresh planning, coordinating with Process Control/DCS engineers, and corporate OT cybersecurity to maintain a safe, stable control system

Qualifications

3–7+ years supporting OT/industrial IT systems.
Experience with Windows Server/Windows workstation administration in controlled environments.
Experience with virtualization and containers in OT contexts.
Knowledge of backup strategies and recovery testing for critical systems.
Familiarity with industrial networking fundamentals and OEM control systems.

Responsibilities

Provide full lifecycle support for non‑OEM OT servers/workstations (physical, virtual, and containerized).
Maintain OT network infrastructure, including switch management and segmentation.
Support OT firewall administration and coordinate with OT cybersecurity teams.
Monitor PI data collectors and ensure data integrity and availability.
Maintain OT documentation, patch schedules, and standard work; assist in incident response and root cause analysis.
Coordinate with vendors/OEMs for maintenance and upgrades and provide on‑site support when needed.
