RWE Americas, LLC seeks a Security Architecture Engineer II to own the OT security architecture and platform stack across 160+ fleet sites. You will design defenses, set reference architectures, and drive secure baselines while coordinating with the SOC and plant teams.

You will lead vulnerability management, incident response, and audit support within an industrial environment, ensuring operational safety and availability across multiple energy assets in the United States.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Computer Science, Cybersecurity, IT, or equivalent security engineering track record.
• Minimum 5 years in cybersecurity, network engineering, or control systems engineering with 3+ years OT/ICS/SCADA.
• Strong interpersonal skills and ability to collaborate with diverse teams.
• Experience in risk assessment, threat modeling, and security architecture.
• Familiarity with ISA/IEC 62443, CIS Benchmarks, and MTRE ATT&CK concepts.

Responsibilities

• Own the OT security toolset architecture, asset visibility, monitoring, and enforcement across fleet.
• Define baselines, deployment standards, and secure configurations for new sites.
• Onboard OT logs to enterprise monitoring platforms and develop OT-specific detections.
• Lead risk assessments, vulnerability remediation, and validation in staging before production.
• Serve as technical escalation point for OT security incidents and threat hunting.
• Design secure remote access and review third-party connectivity into OT environments.
• Embed security requirements into projects, procurements, and contracts.
