Job summary

TEEMA seeks a compassionate, experienced Registered Occupational Therapist (OT) to provide comprehensive OT services for individuals with developmental and complex care needs. The OT will evaluate clients, develop and implement individualized treatment plans, educate staff, and collaborate with interdisciplinary teams to maximize independence and quality of life.

The candidate must hold a Texas OT license, maintain licensure with continuing education, and work a full-time schedule (Mon–Fri, 8:00

Qualifications

• Current, unrestricted OT license in Texas.
• Active license in good standing with the Texas OT Examiners.
• Maintain continuing education requirements for licensure.

Responsibilities

• Conduct comprehensive OT evaluations and assessments.
• Develop and monitor individualized treatment plans and home-based programs.
• Participate in interdisciplinary meetings and provide professional recommendations.
• Deliver skills-based competency training and education to staff.
• Maintain thorough documentation in the electronic health record.
• Communicate with clients, families, caregivers, and team members in writing and verbally.
• Comply with Texas laws, regulations, and professional standards for OT.
