Qualifications

• Current, unrestricted Occupational Therapist (OT) license in the State of Texas.
• License must remain active and in good standing throughout the assignment.
• Must be in good standing with the Texas Executive Council of Physical Therapy and Occupational Therapy Examiners.
• Maintain all continuing education requirements necessary for licensure.
• Excellent verbal, written, interpersonal, and documentation skills.

Responsibilities

• Conduct comprehensive occupational therapy evaluations and assessments.
• Develop, implement, and monitor individualized treatment plans and home-based programs.
• Participate in interdisciplinary, client-centered meetings and provide recommendations.
• Deliver skills-based competency training and education to staff.
• Maintain accurate, timely, and thorough documentation within the electronic health record.
• Communicate effectively with clients, families, caregivers, and team members, both verbally and in writing.
• Practice in accordance with Texas laws, regulations, and professional standards.
• Comply with organizational policies, procedures, and applicable state requirements.
