Join Stern Therapy Consultants as a PRN Occupational Therapist at Autumn Lake at Ballenger Creek. Help residents navigate changes in their abilities after illness, injury, or hospitalization by building treatment around the everyday activities they want and need to perform.
Evaluate self-care skills, upper-extremity function, cognition, and activity tolerance to identify barriers to daily participation.
Develop individualized goals and treatment plans for residents receiving skilled nursing rehabilitation.
Provide task-based interventions for dressing, bathing, toileting, and other essential routines.
Assess adaptive equipment needs and teach residents and caregivers techniques that support safety and independence.
Direct COTA treatment within the plan of care, review resident progress, and update interventions as needed.
Complete clinical documentation and partner with nursing and the rehab team on care recommendations and discharge planning.
$55–$60 per hour.
PRN work based on your availability and the facility's rehabilitation coverage needs.
Unlimited referral bonus, with up to $1,000 per successful referral.
A collaborative therapy department with support from therapy leadership.
Active Maryland Occupational Therapist license.
Strong evaluation, clinical reasoning, and documentation skills.
Ability to communicate practical care strategies to residents, caregivers, and staff.
Experience in skilled nursing is helpful; new graduates are welcome to apply.
