Flagstar Rehab is seeking an Occupational Therapist (OT) for a Skilled Nursing Facility in the NYC area. Work with a multidisciplinary team to evaluate, treat, and educate patients to improve function and cognition in daily living activities.

Opportunity for direct employment with Flagstar Rehab or Independent Contractor status. Pay ranges are listed for W-2 and 1099 engagements, with benefits including orientation, sick leave, insurance options, commuter benefits, weekly pay, and referral

Qualifications

• Current NYS OT License and Registration.
• EMR Competence.
• Meets all State and Federal requirements for US employment in a Nursing Facility.
• Malpractice/Liability Insurance (if applicable)

Responsibilities

• Provide evaluations and create individualized treatment plans for SNF patients.
• Supervise COTAs daily.
• Deliver therapy to individuals with TBI, stroke, Parkinson's, MS, cancer, orthopedic issues.
• Document progress using EMR software.

Occupational Therapist (OT) in Skilled Nursing Facility

Now Staffing Occupational Therapists for Rehab Department in state-of-the-art Skilled Nursing Facilities throughout NYC and Surrounding Areas.

Flagstar Rehab OTs work with a diverse and multi-disciplinary team to perform evaluations, treatments, and patient/family education to improve the physicality and cognition of their patients and positively impact their ability to function in their daily lives.

Pay Rate: $46-$48 Hourly (W-2), $57-$60 Hourly (1099)

Occupational Therapist Job Duties:

• Provide efficient evaluations and create individualized treatment plans for COTAs to follow.
• Supervise COTAs daily.
• Provide quality therapy services to individuals in an SNF setting, who require care related to TBI, CVA, Stroke, Parkinson's, Multiple Sclerosis, Cancer, orthopedic surgery, and other debilitating diagnosis.
• Monitor and document patient progress with the use of innovative EMR software.
