Job summary

Flagstar Rehab is seeking an Occupational Therapist (OT) to join our skilled nursing facility teams in NYC and surrounding areas. You will evaluate patients, design individualized treatment plans, and collaborate with a multidisciplinary team to improve function and cognition.

We offer direct employment or independent contractor options, with weekly pay and benefits such as sick leave and insurance options. Requires NYS OT license and EMR competence, and eligibility to work in the US.

Qualifications

• EMR competence required.
• Must hold a NYS OT license and registration.
• Authorized to work in the US in a Nursing Facility.

Responsibilities

• Provide efficient evaluations and create individualized treatment plans.
• Supervise COTAs daily.
• Deliver quality therapy services in SNF for conditions like TBI, CVA, Stroke, Parkinson’s, MS, Cancer, orthopedic surgery.
• Monitor and document patient progress using EMR software.

Occupational Therapist (OT) in Skilled Nursing Facility

Flagstar Rehab OTs work with a diverse and multi-disciplinary team to perform evaluations, treatments, and patient/family education to improve the physicality and cognition of their patients and positively impact their ability to function in their daily lives.

Pay Rate: $46-$48 Hourly (W-2), $57-$60 Hourly (1099)

Occupational Therapist Job Duties:

• Provide efficient evaluations and create individualized treatment plans for COTAs to follow.
• Supervise COTAs daily.
• Provide quality therapy services to individuals in an SNF setting, who require care related to TBI, CVA, Stroke, Parkinson’s, Multiple Sclerosis, Cancer, orthopedic surgery, and other debilitating diagnosis.
• Monitor and document patient progress with the use of innovative EMR software.
