Job summary

Flagstar Rehab is seeking an Occupational Therapist to join our rehab department in state-of-the-art Skilled Nursing Facilities throughout NYC and Surrounding Areas. You will perform assessments, create treatment plans, and educate patients and families to improve function and cognition.

Qualifications

• EMR software experience preferred.
• Licensed OT in NYS.
• U.S. employment eligibility in a nursing facility.

Responsibilities

• Conduct evaluations and develop individualized treatment plans for COTAs to follow.
• Supervise COTAs on a daily basis.
• Provide high-quality therapy to SNF patients with conditions such as TBI, CVA, stroke, Parkinson’s, MS, cancer, and orthopedic issues.
• Monitor and document patient progress using EMR software.

Occupational Therapist (OT) in Skilled Nursing Facility

Now Staffing Occupational Therapists for Rehab Department in state-of-the-art Skilled Nursing Facilities throughout NYC and Surrounding Areas.

Flagstar Rehab OTs work with a diverse and multi-disciplinary team to perform evaluations, treatments, and patient/family education to improve the physicality and cognition of their patients and positively impact their ability to function in their daily lives.

Pay Rate: $46-$48 Hourly (W-2), $57-$60 Hourly (1099)

Occupational Therapist Job Duties:

• Provide efficient evaluations and create individualized treatment plans for COTAs to follow.
• Supervise COTAs daily.
• Provide quality therapy services to individuals in an SNF setting,who require care related to TBI, CVA, Stroke, Parkinson’s, Multiple Sclerosis, Cancer, orthopedic surgery, and other debilitating diagnosis.
• Monitor and document patient progress with the use of innovative EMR software.

Occupational Therapist Requirements:

• Current NYS OT License and Registration
• EMR Competence
