Job summary

Ulteig seeks an experienced OT Network & Systems Administrator III to lead complex OT networking and systems assignments, mentor junior staff, and support SCADA and data historization efforts across diverse environments.

The role requires designing network solutions, configuring firewalls and VPNs, and collaborating across disciplines to address cybersecurity and reliability concerns. Some travel to client sites will be needed.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree or equivalent with progressive experience in networking and OT systems.
• Advanced knowledge of networking, firewall administration, routing, switching, VPN technologies and secure OT network practices.
• Advanced knowledge of physical and virtual server environments, virtualization, storage, recovery and related infrastructure.
• Ability to independently resolve complex technical issues and lead defined project work.
• Ability to mentor or provide technical guidance to less experienced professionals.
• Strong communication skills and the ability to build relationships with clients and internal partners.
• Ability to travel to client and project sites in the US and Canada as required, subject to work authorization.

Responsibilities

• Lead technical execution for complex OT network and systems assignments and serve as technical lead for small to medium projects.
• Develop network designs and technical recommendations addressing client requirements, cybersecurity, interfaces, reliability, and maintainability.
• Configure and troubleshoot firewall, switching, VPN, routing, server, virtualization, storage, and recovery solutions.
• Lead resolution of network integration, communications, and server issues and coordinate input across disciplines.
• Evaluate cybersecurity risks and apply controls to address current and emerging threats.
• Support project scoping, estimating, proposal development, and business development activities.
