Job summary

OUC – The Reliable One is seeking a Senior Network Engineer – Operational Technology to join the Trans,Substation & Sys Protect division in Orlando. Design, deploy, monitor, and optimize the operational network supporting critical utility services and SCADA systems.

Ideal candidates have 5+ years in IT networks, CCNA/CCNP preferred, and experience with MPLS, Cisco and Fortinet equipment. Hybrid work and competitive benefits are offered.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s Degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, Computer Engineering, MIS, or related discipline.
• Minimum of five years of progressive experience in an IT network environment.
• Three years managing networks (MPLS preferred) and experience with wired and wireless networks.

Responsibilities

• Design, deploy and manage corporate networks (LAN/WAN/WLAN).
• Configure and install network devices and security appliances.
• Monitor network performance and security; troubleshoot production issues.
• Lead network projects and coordinate with stakeholders.
• Create and maintain detailed network diagrams and documentation.
