Job summary

TAKKION invites a hands-on OT Network Engineer to design, implement, and secure industrial networks supporting ICS/SCADA/DCS across on‑premises and cloud environments.

You will bridge IT and OT, manage VPNs, firewalls, RBAC, and CIP/NERC CIP compliance, while documenting networks and coordinating with vendors to minimize downtime and improve reliability.

The role emphasizes remote field connectivity, Azure hybrid cloud integration, and ongoing security-first improvements to production systems.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in IT/CS/EE or equivalent experience.
• 5+ years in enterprise/industrial networking.
• Strong networking, VPN, firewall, routing, and switching skills.
• Azure administration and documentation skills.
• Experience with industrial cybersecurity and network segmentation.
• Experience supporting remote field communications.

Responsibilities

• Design, configure, and maintain Layer 2/3 industrial networks.
• Configure switches, routers, firewalls, VPNs, and wireless.
• Support OT cybersecurity and RBAC across OT systems.
• Align network decisions with CIP, NERC CIP, and defense-in-depth.
• Collaborate with vendors, IT, and OT teams.
• Document complex networks and maintain diagrams.
• Assist with Azure cloud and hybrid infrastructure.
• Ensure high availability and reliable remote site connectivity.
