Job summary

Crescent Energy seeks an OT Network Engineer to design, support, and modernize its industrial network across upstream assets. You will ensure reliability and security for SCADA, telemetry, and remote operations, collaborating with Operations, SCADA, and Cybersecurity teams.

Ideal candidates have 5–10 years of OT networking experience, strong field communications skills, and certifications such as CCNA/CCNP or Fortinet NSE. Some travel to remote sites is required as part of this role.

Qualifications

• 5–10 years of OT network experience in upstream oil & gas or industrial settings.
• Hands-on experience with industrial networking, field communications, and remote facilities.
• Experience with acquisitions, network upgrades, and modernization projects.
• Strong knowledge of SCADA communications and industrial networking tech.

Responsibilities

• Provide day-to-day OT network operations and support to ensure high availability of field communications infrastructure.
• Troubleshoot connectivity impacting SCADA, automation, telemetry, and field operations.
• Monitor network health and capacity; proactively address potential issues.
• Participate in on-call responses for critical OT incidents and outages.
• Assist with field communications installation, configuration, and upgrades.
• Maintain network documentation, diagrams, and asset inventories.
• Collaborate with Cybersecurity on secure OT network architecture.
