Job summary

Revel IT is seeking a hands-on Network Solutions Architect specializing in Industrial OT and Cisco networking. You will design, secure, and deploy industrial network architectures across plant floors, manufacturing environments, and critical infrastructure, bridging IT and OT for seamless connectivity.

You will deploy and secure OT networks, implement segmentation and firewalls, and support high availability across PLCs, SCADA, DCS, and enterprise networks, with travel to sites as needed.

Qualifications

• 7+ years in network engineering/architecture.
• 3+ years directly in manufacturing, plant, or OT environments.
• Expert-level knowledge of Cisco IOS/IOS-XE, BGP, OSPF, EIGRP, VLANs, VXLAN, and STP.
• Solid understanding of ISA/IEC 62443 security standards and Purdue Model.
• Experience implementing network segmentation, firewalls, VPNs, and ACLs.
• Willingness to travel to manufacturing plants (20% - 40%).

Responsibilities

• Industrial Network Design: Architect and deploy low-latency OT networks per ICS security models.
• Cisco Ecosystem Integration: Configure Cisco IE hardware, ISRs, Cyber Vision, and ISE.
• IT/OT Convergence: Collaborate with plant automation and IT for secure bridging and segmentation.
• Plant Deployments: Conduct on-site assessments, wireless surveys, and hardware rollouts.
• Cybersecurity & Segmentation: Implement firewalls, micro-segmentation and zero-trust rules.
• High Availability & Protocols: Design redundant topologies for PROFINET, EtherNet/IP, Modbus, STP/RSTP.
• Troubleshooting & Support: Tier 3/4 escalation for outages, packet captures, routing issues.
