Job summary

Akkodis is seeking a Network Automation Engineer to join a high-impact team supporting enterprise environments. The role focuses on designing and implementing automation solutions across multi-vendor routing and switching environments, using Python and Ansible to build scalable workflows.

This position offers a W2 compensation of $60–$75 per hour, without sponsorship, and open to hire for the right candidate.

Qualifications

• 5+ years of relevant experience in network automation.
• Strong expertise in Python & Ansible.
• Solid networking fundamentals (routing/switching across multi-vendor environments).
• Experience with Git, REST APIs, YAML/JSON, and IaC concepts.
• Excellent communication skills for client-facing interactions.
• Ability to operate independently and contribute immediately.

Job description

We’re looking for a strong Network Automation Engineer to join a high-impact team supporting enterprise environments. If you thrive in automation, enjoy working across multi-vendor networks, and can hit the ground running—this opportunity is for you!

$60–75/hr on Akkodis W2 without sponsorship (open to go hire for the right candidate)

What You’ll Be Doing

• Designing and implementing network automation solutions
• Developing automation workflows using Python and Ansible
• Working across complex, multi-vendor routing & switching environments
• Leveraging Infrastructure as Code (IaC) practices
• Collaborating with clients and internal stakeholders in a delivery-focused model

What We’re Looking For

• 5+ years of relevant experience in network automation

Nice to Have (Bonus Skills)

• Itential experience
• Familiarity with Nautobot (especially pulling device data)
