Job summary

Akkodis is seeking a hands-on Network Engineer in Omaha, NE to design, implement, and support diverse client networks. You will tackle complex issues across Fortinet, Aruba, Meraki, and SD‑WAN environments while collaborating with teams on security initiatives and migrations.

Ideal candidate brings 5+ years of network engineering, strong troubleshooting skills, and clear communication to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced setting.

Qualifications

• 5+ years of hands-on network engineering, network administration, or network support experience.
• Strong troubleshooting experience with routing, switching, firewall, and wireless technologies.
• Experience with Fortinet, HPE Aruba, Cisco Meraki, SonicWall, WatchGuard or similar.
• Strong understanding of TCP/IP, DNS, DHCP, VLANs, VPNs, NAT, and network security principles.
• Experience configuring and supporting firewalls, switches, wireless infrastructure, and SD‑WAN.
• Experience performing firmware upgrades, patching, network monitoring, and maintenance.
• Ability to perform root cause analysis and document technical solutions.
• Strong communication, problem-solving, and customer service skills.
• Ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment.

Pay/Salary Range: $80,000 annually to $105,000 annually. The salary may be negotiable based on experience, education, geographic location, and other factors.
