Job summary

EY is seeking an Onsite Field Support Engineer – OT to enable site readiness and asset onboarding in industrial environments. You will coordinate field activities, troubleshoot connectivity, and validate deployments while working with site personnel, engineering teams, vendors, and remote support.

The role requires broad infrastructure and OT awareness, strong problem-solving, and disciplined execution. This is a hands-on field position with travel as needed and a hybrid work approach in the US.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Information Technology, Engineering, Cybersecurity, Computer Science, or equivalent technical experience preferred.
• 5+ years of experience in field support, infrastructure support, networking, cybersecurity, industrial technology, or implementation roles.
• Experience supporting site-based technology deployments, infrastructure implementation, or operational readiness activities.
• Working knowledge of networking fundamentals, IP addressing, VLANs, routing/switching concepts, and connectivity troubleshooting.
• Ability to travel and support onsite implementation activities as required.

Responsibilities

• Site Implementation Support: onboarding, readiness, and deployment activities for OT environments.
• Network and Infrastructure Support: installation, validation, and troubleshooting of network/security infrastructure.
• OT Asset Onboarding and Inventory Support: documentation and onboarding into monitoring or support platforms.
• Testing, Readiness, and Troubleshooting: connectivity validation, defect tracking, escalation coordination.
• Documentation and Support Transition: maintain deployment notes, diagrams, and handoff artifacts.
