Job summary

EY seeks an Onsite Field Support Engineer – OT to ensure site readiness and coordinate infrastructure onboarding in operational technology environments. This hands-on role requires broad IT capabilities, strong problem-solving, and effective collaboration with site personnel, engineering teams, vendors, and remote support groups.

You will translate approved technical plans into deployed, validated, and supportable site environments, with a focus on network, endpoint, and OT asset readiness.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Information Technology, Engineering, Cybersecurity, Computer Science, or equivalent technical experience preferred.
• 5+ years of experience in field support, infrastructure support, networking, cybersecurity, industrial technology, or implementation roles.
• Experience supporting site-based technology deployments, infrastructure implementation, or operational readiness activities.
• Working knowledge of networking fundamentals, IP addressing, VLANs, routing/switching concepts, and connectivity troubleshooting.
• Ability to travel and support onsite implementation activities as required.

Responsibilities

• Site Onboarding: support site onboarding, readiness, and deployment activities for OT and industrial environments.
• Network and Infrastructure: assist with installation, validation, and troubleshooting of network and security infrastructure.
• OT Asset Onboarding: assist with identification, validation, and documentation of OT assets and supporting infrastructure.
• Testing and Troubleshooting: support implementation testing, connectivity validation, readiness reviews, and defect tracking.
