Job summary

Peraton is seeking an OT Security Specialist (Training & Knowledge Transfer) to lead training programs for Army National Guard environments in the DMV area. You will develop curricula, deliver instructor-led and virtual sessions, and coordinate with engineering, operations and SOC/CIRT teams to embed cybersecurity practices into industrial processes.

You must have 5+ years in OT/ICS cybersecurity training, strong documentation skills, and relevant DoD/military experience or clearances.

Qualifications

• OT/ICS cybersecurity experience with 5+ years in training or knowledge-transfer roles.
• Familiarity with IEC 62443 and NIST SP 800-82.
• Proven ability to design curriculum, labs and assessments for engineering audiences.
• Strong documentation and reproducible training artifact skills.
• Experience coordinating cross-discipline training with engineering, operations, SOC/CIRT and leadership.

Responsibilities

• Lead OT cybersecurity training and knowledge-transfer programs.
• Develop curriculum, lesson plans, labs and materials aligned with IEC 62443 and NIST SP 800-82.
• Deliver instructor-led and virtual training, workshops and train-the-trainer sessions.
• Coordinate with system owners, engineers, safety personnel and SOC/CIRT teams.
• Publish training artifacts, runbooks and SOPs for sustainment and onboarding.
• Assess workforce readiness and recommend remediation or capability development.
• Support exercises, tabletop events and hands-on labs to validate skills.
