Peraton Labs is seeking a Principal OT Cybersecurity / ICS Security Architect to lead the requirements and solutions-analysis for a federal OT modernization program. You will span OT/ICS and enterprise IT security, work with stakeholders from engineering to executive leadership, and guide procurement decisions with defensible recommendations.

The role requires deep experience across NERC CIP, regulatory guidelines, and lab-based validation, with strong written and briefing skills.

Qualifications

• U.S. Citizenship with ability to obtain Public Trust and a PIV credential.
• 12+ years of systems architecture or cyber engineering experience; 16 years if no degree.
• Experience across OT/ICS and enterprise IT security environments.
• Direct experience in electric-utility or power-grid domain.
• Hands-on experience applying NERC CIP standards in a utility environment.
• Proven record leading the full RFI and vendor-evaluation lifecycle: requirements, market survey, RFI authorship, response evaluation, lab validation, and recommendation.
• Strong technical writing and executive-briefing skills.
• Ability to travel domestically up to 25%

Responsabilités

• Lead end-to-end solutions analysis for one or more workstreams and produce System Requirements Specifications with traceability to NERC CIP, FISMA, and CISA Zero Trust Architecture.
• Conduct market research to identify candidate commercial products across IAM, monitoring, asset/configuration/vulnerability management.
• Draft RFIs, manage responses, and lead vendor engagements under federal guardrails.
• Assess vendor responses and product capabilities; author comparison reports and down-select recommendations.
• Design lab test environments and oversee product demonstrations and evaluations.
• Author ASA documents and brief steering committees and executives.
• Facilitate multi-stakeholder workshops to build consensus on requirements and product selection.
