Peraton is seeking an OT Security Specialist to support the Army National Guard in the greater DMV area. The role covers design and deployment of OT security controls across ICSS, SCADA, DCS, and PLCs to strengthen mission readiness.

Qualified candidates will have 7+ years in OT cybersecurity in industrial/DoD environments, active TS/SCI clearance, and a BS/BA or higher in a relevant field. The position requires collaboration with SOC/CIRT, engineering, and Army stakeholders.

Qualifications

• OT/ICS cybersecurity experience, network engineering, or control-systems with 5+ years leading OT security efforts in industrial/DoD environments.
• Expertise in OT protocols, device architectures, segmentation/zoning, secure remote access, and safety-aware security measures.
• Ability to design and validate OT detection use cases and perform telemetry analysis to inform mitigations and POA&Ms.
• Experience leading OT incident response and cross-functional containment/remediation in industrial settings.

Responsabilités

• Design, implement, and evaluate OT security controls across ICSS, SCADA, DCS, PLCs and other OT environments.
• Develop OT security architectures, segmentation strategies, and baselines aligned with NIST SP 800‑82, ISA/IEC 62443, DoD, and Army requirements.
• Analyze OT network traffic, device configurations, and protocol behavior to identify security gaps and risks.
• Define high‑value OT log sources, detection use cases, and behavioral analytics for monitoring.
• Oversee OT vulnerability assessments, risk evaluations, and red/blue-team exercises.
• Coordinate cross‑team integration with SOC, CIRT, engineering, facilities, RCC‑ARNG, NETCOM, and ARCYBER.
• Lead OT incident response, forensic collection, containment, remediation, and restoration.
