Qualifications

• Ph.D. in CS/EE or related field with 1–3 years of industry experience.
• Alternative: Bachelor's or master's with 3–5 years of industry experience.
• Minimum 3–5 years in embedded systems, firmware, or edge software.
• Proficiency in C/C++ and Python for embedded development.
• Experience with cryptographic standards (TLS, X.509) and hardware security (HSM/TPM/TrustZone).

Responsibilities

• Support Cybersecurity technology development on R&D programs.
• Identify external funding opportunities for OT cybersecurity research.
• Contribute to proposals with technical input and domain expertise.
• Collaborate with universities, labs, and partners to advance OT security for embedded systems.
• Assist in defining technical requirements and system-level security for complex environments.
• Mature research technologies into GE Vernova product platforms with business teams.
• Contribute to technical papers, patent filings, and open-source engagement.
• Participate in technical reviews and sponsor meetings.
