Job summary

Dow is seeking an Operational Technology (OT) Cyber Defense Specialist to protect its global manufacturing landscape from cyber threats in the CSOC. The role is based in Midland, MI or Houston, TX and requires deep OT/ICS experience with a passion for cybersecurity and risk management.

Responsibilities include developing OT detection content, conducting advanced investigations, and mentoring analysts. Travel may be required; relocation is not included.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree or relevant military experience at or above U.S. E5 or Canadian rank OR 5 years relevant experience in lieu of a degree.
• Minimum of 3 years relevant OT/cybersecurity experience.
• Deep knowledge of OT/ICS technologies and manufacturing environments.
• Strong understanding of OT attack surfaces, risk vectors, and cyber threats in industrial settings.
• Experience with security operations, incident response, threat hunting, or monitoring is preferred.

Responsibilities

• Serve as SME for OT, guiding on ICS, OT networks, and cyber risks.
• Develop OT-focused detection use cases, analytics, and monitoring capabilities (MITRE ATT&CK for IC S).
• Investigate security events affecting OT and enterprise environments; threat hunting and root cause analysis.
• Evaluate emerging threats and translate intelligence into defensive capabilities.
• Maintain detection content, playbooks, and incident response guidance for OT monitoring.
• Mentor other analysts to grow OT expertise within the CSOC.
