Accenture Security is hiring an OT Cybersecurity Consultant in the United States to lead and support security engagements across industrial environments, collaborating with client engineers and security teams to reduce risk while maintaining operations.

You will assess, design, and help implement security solutions in OT/ICS contexts, serving as a SME on active pursuits and contributing to RFP responses and content.

Qualifications

• Minimum 5 years of OT/ICS experience in industries like utilities, manufacturing, or energy.
• Minimum 3 years hands-on with IC technologies including SCADA, DCS, EMS/ADMS, RTUs, PLCs, HMIs.
• Minimum 3 years cybersecurity in OT contexts including vulnerability management, IAM, and monitoring.
• Minimum 3 years experience with OT protocols (Modbus, DNP3, IEC 61850, PROFINET, OPC, EtherNet/IP).
• Minimum 3 years producing and presenting security deliverables and findings to technical and executive audiences.
• Bachelor's degree or equivalent work experience (12 years); if Associate, minimum 6 years

Responsibilities

• Conduct OT/ICS security assessments against frameworks including NERC CIP, IEC 62443/ISA-99, NIST CSF, DOE C2M2, and client requirements.
• Evaluate client security posture across Purdue Model layers, identifying gaps in segmentation, remote access, asset inventory, and detection coverage.
• Deploy OT-native security tooling including network security monitoring platforms and asset discovery tools.
• Perform OT-specific threat hunting, IOC analysis, and incident response support in IC/SCADA environments.
• Develop detailed security assessment reports, risk registers, and remediation roadmaps.
• Support OT security program development including governance frameworks, policies, and procedures.
• Collaborate with client IT/OT teams, system integrators, and OEM vendors to drive practical security outcomes.
• Serve as a SME on OT security pursuits—contributing to RFP responses, solution reviews, and proposal content.
• Contribute to Accenture's OT Security practice through reusable assets and delivery excellence.
• Travel may be required (0–100%) depending on business needs.
