Job summary

W&T Offshore, Inc. seeks an experienced OT Cybersecurity Specialist to safeguard offshore OT/ICS environments. You will manage risk assessments, implement security controls, and lead incident response for critical infrastructure.

The role involves collaboration with engineering, operations and IT, with travel up to 40% and an in-office schedule in Houston. A strong background in OT protocols and security tools is required.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree or equivalent in IT, CS or Cybersecurity.
• 5–10 years in OT security, IT infra, or cybersecurity ops with 3+ years OT/ICS.
• Strong knowledge of OT protocols (Modbus, DNP3, OPC, BACnet, PROFINET).
• Hands-on networking security, firewalls, VPNs, IDS/IPS.
• Certifications: CISSP/CSSP/CySA+ or equivalent preferred.

Responsibilities

• Perform risk management and vulnerability assessments for OT systems.
• Analyze architecture, traffic and logs to identify security gaps.
• Develop and implement security controls and mitigations.
• Deploy network segmentation and secure access for OT environments.
• Lead incident response and forensic investigations in OT/ICS.
• Collaborate with engineering, operations and IT for remediation.
• Establish OT security policies and training programs.
• Maintain OT asset inventory and patch strategies.
• Conduct security testing, audits, and continuous monitoring.
• Evaluate OT security tools and technologies.
