Job summary

Dow is seeking an OT Cyber Defense Specialist to join the Cyber Security Operations Center in Houston/ Midland. The role focuses on protecting Dow's industrial control systems and manufacturing environments through detection, investigation and response across OT and enterprise domains.

The ideal candidate combines deep OT engineering knowledge with cybersecurity expertise, capable of developing OT-focused detection content and leading complex investigations in a fast-paced industrial setting.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree or military equivalent at or above a U.S. E5 ranking or Canadian Petty Officer 2nd Class or Sergeant, or 5 years of relevant experience in lieu.

Responsibilities

• Serve as OT SME for ICS, manufacturing technologies, OT networks and cyber risks.
• Develop OT-focused detection use cases, analytics and monitoring capabilities (MITRE ATT&CK for ICs).
• Investigate security events affecting OT and enterprise environments, including threat hunting, forensics and root-cause analysis.
• Continuously evaluate threats and translate intelligence into defensive capabilities.
• Create and maintain detection content, playbooks, and incident response guidance for OT.
• Collaborate on cross-functional projects to improve OT security posture.
• Mentor analysts to grow OT expertise within CSOC.
