Job summary

Energy Transfer LP is seeking an experienced server support professional for hands-on OT enablement and automation collaboration. The role focuses on supporting backup environments, patching, and server operations within plant domains while coordinating with OT teams and customers to implement robust solutions with minimal disruption.

The ideal candidate will bring strong scripting (PowerShell), SQL knowledge, and experience with monitoring tools, SCCM, and disaster recovery planning.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering, CS, or related field with 2–5 years of related experience.
• Ability to manage multiple workloads and multitask in a fast-paced environment.
• 3+ years of experience with backup and recovery technologies.
• 3+ years of experience with large production server environments.
• 3+ years experience with SCCM, server patching, and reporting.
• 2+ years experience with PowerShell scripting.
• Experience working with SQL and writing SQL queries, ideally relating to SCCM and Backup solutions.

Responsibilities

• Maintain and monitor Veeam Backup and Recovery servers and jobs.
• Support team with Veeam administration to ensure backups succeed.
• Monitor and maintain all servers in plant domains.
• Architect solutions for process improvement.
• Automate tasks with scripts and document processes.
• Participate in on-call rotation and disaster recovery efforts.
• Assist in project delivery, device configuration, and vendor coordination.
• Work with users and OT personnel to develop system solutions.
