Job summary

Energy Transfer LP is seeking an experienced server support professional within the Operational Technology team. The role emphasizes hands-on work with automation to support the current environment while minimizing service interruptions.

You will collaborate with OT teams, automate tasks with scripts, and contribute to disaster recovery efforts. Strong backups, monitoring, and patching skills are required, along with effective communication and teamwork.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree or equivalent in a technical field with 2–5 years of related experience.
• Experience with backup and recovery technologies (3+ years).
• Experience supporting large production server environments (3+ years).
• Experience with monitoring tools like SCOM (3+ years).
• SCCM server patching and reporting experience (3+ years).
• Scripting tools such as PowerShell (2+ years).
• Experience with SQL queries related to SCCM/Backup solutions.
• Strong written and verbal communication; team-oriented.

Responsibilities

• Maintain and monitor Veeam Backup and Recovery servers and jobs.
• Assist team with Veeam administration to ensure successful backups.
• Monitor and maintain servers in plant domains.
• Support file services, backups and patching efforts.
• Architect solutions for process improvement.
• Automate tasks via scripts and automation tools.
• Document processes and share knowledge with the team.
• Participate in on-call rotation and incident resolution.
• Contribute to disaster recovery planning and testing.
